The future of diagnostics.

is here.

Shirley Diagnostics leads a revolution, leveraging advances in AI and analytical chemistry to create platform diagnostics for the rapid detection of sepsis and pneumonias as well as predict biomarkers for diagnostic and therapeutic target development.

We leverage ‘omics, especially the untapped metabolomic arena.

In 2023, Shirley Diagnostics became the first brand new company to be seeded by the Gates Foundation ($5 M). The founder and CEO, Dr. Jane Hill, an expert in biomarker discovery and med-tech, built out an expert team of technologists and clinical partners

How we started.

What we do.

Creating rapid diagnostics for sepsis and pneumonia.
Biomarker prediction with AI and chemistry.

Overview

Technologies.

Screening diagnostics for infection. Molecule prediction for diagnostics and therapeutics.

Pipeline.

Rapid detection platforms. Predictive biomarker tools.

Services.

High-resolution chemical analysis. Untargeted 'omic disease biomarker discovery. Specialized contract research.

Searchable biomarker and odor database for human and animal health (Breath Atlas™).

Doing Good

Tuberculosis is the biggest infectious disease killer in the world (bigger than HIV and malaria, combined!). Detecting TB early is one of our missions. We are developing a low-cost screening breath test. In our 1000+ person study, we have a diagnostic with a sensitivity of 90% and a specificity of 80%, meeting the WHO target produce profile (TPP).
